Beaver Dam Council Meeting Monday Night

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Common Council is set to meet Monday night. There are a number of resolutions on the agenda, including one to approve the purchase order of city entryway signage.

Beaver Dam had previously designated $100-thousand-dollars of American Rescue Plan Act dollars for the installation and update of gateway signage for prominent city entryways. Signarama has prepared a proposal in the amount of $99,720 to accommodate three sign locations.

Another resolution is looking to use ARPA funds to replace cardiac monitors for the fire department. The council will discuss a resolution approving a 2025-2026 collective bargaining agreement between the city and the Beaver Dam Police Department Association Local Number 206.

Another resolution that the council will discuss will be awarding the contract for the Beaver and Front Street reconstruction project. Kopplin and Kinas, based in Green Lake, was the lowest bidder at $1.5-million-dollars. The project is funded in part by a $1-million-dollar Community Development Block Grant.

The meeting at city hall, which is located at 205 South Lincoln Avenue, will begin at 7:30pm.โ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏโ€ฏ
