(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Common Council on Monday awarded contracts for a pair of this summer’s street reconstruction projects. Ptaschinski Construction of Beaver Dam was tabbed for both projects.
That includes the $1.3-million-dollar reconstruction of West Third Street between Lacrosse and West streets in addition to Walnut Street east of McKinley, which has a price tag of $393-thousand dollars.
The funding for both projects come from the city utility’s Capital Improvements Program while Third Street is also able to tap into increment from Tax Increment Finance District #9.
