(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Common Council approved the annexation of property in the town of Beaver Dam to the city. The Mahoney Group LLC has petitioned the city to annex the parcel which is located on Kellom Road and would be zoned light manufacturing district.
Beaver Dam’s Director of Engineering Todd Janssen explains.
“This is for the Powersports Company up on the north end of Kellom Road which sits directly adjacent to the 151 business park,” says Janssen. “Powersports has plans to expand their business and connect to sewer and water services, thus triggering the annexation. It did receive unanimous approval by the Planning Commission.”
Per state statute, the city must pay the town of Beaver Dam five years’ worth of property taxes that was levied on the land during the 2024 tax roll.
