(Beaver Dam) The public is invited to the Back to the Future Extravaganza at the Beaver Dam Community Library Saturday. Organizers say this fun-filled event celebrates the completion of the roof project and launches of the community fundraising phase of the Next Chapter renovation campaign.
The Next Chapter campaign includes naming rights and recognition opportunities, but library officials say all donations are welcome. Renovation goals include improved building accessibility, added active learning spaces, future flexibility, community and study rooms, and expanded services and programs.
Library visitors should use the Third Street parking lot entrance on Saturday. The Spring Street driveway and adjacent parking will be closed to traffic for the event.
Free programs and activities include a bounce house, DeLorean photo booth, Storytime with Miss Sam, scavenger hunt, Lois Ehlert inspired craft project, and more. Food will be available for purchase from Blue Hawaii, Luciaโs Cocina, and Little Red Wagon.ย ย
There will be picnic tables available. Next Chapter t-shirts will be available to pre-order at the event which runs from 11am to 2pm.
