Beaver Dam Common Council to Vote on proposed Second Data Center

Minnesota-based developer Oppidan wants to build a 90,000-square-foot data center at the intersection of Highway 151 and Hemlock Road. That’s not far from where Meta is building a much bigger AI data center.

Monday, the Common Council is scheduled to vote on rezoning the proposed site for the second data center from residential to light industrial. Alders are also scheduled to vote on changing the boundaries of Tax Increment District 7 to include the proposed Oppidan site.
