Pre-Game/Event Routine To Get Focused For Competition Include…
The day of a game I am very superstitious, I get up and eat a rice cake with peanut butter and bananas, then I drink a pedialyte. For lunch I eat a chicken caesar wrap, finally I do my hair in the same way and get ready to go with some pregam music.
Advice You Would Give To A Freshman High School Athlete
I would tell freshmen that they need to have confidence in who they are, and never change for anyone. There will always be people that try to bring you down but you have to brush them aside and continue to play your game and trust in your abilities. I would also tell freshmen that you don’t get anywhere without hard work. You are never given anything, you have to work for everything.
A Person(s) Who Had A Major Impact On My Athletic Career & Why Is…
A person that has had a major impact on my athletic career would have to be my AAU coach Lisa Van Wyk from Wisconsin Blaze because without Lisa taking a chance on me to join her program and get me seen by colleges I would not be where I am today in my recruiting process. I would probably not be committed and my basketball skills would not be where they are today. She gave me the opportunity to play with high caliber players because she knew I could, so for that she has made such an impact on my career as an athlete and person, that I would not be where I am now without my Blaze Family!
Plans For After Graduation
I plan on attending Mckendree University an NCAA Division 2 University in Illinois at Mckendree I plan to study Biology with a minor in business with a long term goal of getting into chiropractic school.
Favorite High School Class
My Favorite HIgh School Class would have to be anything in tech ed like woods because I find great joy in working with my hand to create something just like in basketball.
Favorite High School Teacher & Why
My favorite high school teacher is Mrs. Gregorio or Mr. Pickerts because they both push me to be the best version of myself and teach me valuable lessons about their classes and in life.
The Most Interesting Place I’ve Ever Visited Is…
The most interesting place that I have visited would have to be Arizona because many think that Arizona is just desert but there is so much beauty in the mountains and greenery scattered around.
Place I Would Like To Visit
I would like to Visit Jackson Hole, Wyoming because I would love to visit the rodeo grounds and western areas, same with the stockyards in Texas to learn about our country’s history in the livestock industries.
