Beaver Dam Chamber To Recognize It’s Innovation Award Winners

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce is recognizing six different businesses and organizations for the annual Innovation Awards on Wednesday, April 24. The winners are Specialty Cheese Company, Mick Fischer Trophy and Engraving, and PAVE. The businesses will be honored at the Black Ties and Blue Jeans Awards Dinner at Bayside Supper Club. Large Business Innovation Award Winner: Specialty Cheese Company 

Specialty Cheese Company jumpstarted the Getting-To-Work Program. This program is intended for current and new employees who either live in a one car household, do not have a driverโ€™s license, or cannot drive. A team of drivers was assembled to help these individuals. The program helped make working a more accessible experience and helped increase retention, recruitment, and attendance of employees.ย ย 

Large Business Innovation Honorable Mention: Mittera, Wisconsin 

Mittera, Wisconsin replaced their traditional inking systems with cutting-edge computer-controlled equipment to up efficiency. This aided in saving time, money and paper all in one. This upgrade in technology promoted both company success and a more sustainable approach.

Small Business Innovation Award Winner: Mick Fischer Trophy and Engraving 

Mick Fischer Trophy and Engraving has pushed the envelope in the trophy and engraving industry with a new approach to UV printing. This UV printing system has served as a lifeline for the Dodge County K-9 Unit as well. The company is being recognized for not only improving the quality of their equipment but for helping the community.ย ย 

Small Business Innovation Honorable Mention: Quest Cleaning 

Quest Cleaning has successfully filled a void for window cleaning services in the Beaver Dam area. What was once a solo operation run by Angel Quest has grown to an expansive staff helping in gutter and solar panel cleaning as well. Quest has built a reputation for being reliable and professional, leaving their customers satisfied.ย ย 

Nonprofit Innovation Award Winner: PAVE 

PAVE has solved a critical problem involving transportation for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Dodge County area. The nonprofit organization has created a transportation/recreation station equipped with bicycles, pull-behind child carriers and safety gear. This has strengthened the support landscape for survivors, ensuring they can access crucial resources and reclaim their independence.ย ย 

Nonprofit Innovation Honorable Mention: Good Karma Brands John Moser Radiothon 

The Good Karma Brands John Moser Childrenโ€™s Radiothon has developed into a hub of generosity for children in and around the Beaver Dam area. This live event has raised north of $2.5 million for area nonprofits but also highlighted the important work these organizations do to support youth in need.ย ย
