(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce is recognizing three organizations with Innovation Awards during the Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet later this month. Executive Director Tracy Propst says the selection committee looked for ideas and programs that made positive impacts either in their organization, with their customers or their community.
The award recipients include Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam with the Large Business Innovation Award. Challenged by the COVID pandemic, Marshfield initiated and completed over 390 COVID related process improvement projects.
Legacy Medical Services is the Small Business Innovation Award Winner, having developed the first independent, direct primary care medical clinic for Beaver Dam and the surrounding communities.
Playground Movement won the Non-Profit Innovation Award. Since itsโ inception, the Playground Movement has become a source of play, creativity, service, and education in the Madison Street-area of Beaver Dam.
Honorable Mentions are Summit Credit Union, Nancy Zieman Sewing Studio and Habitat for Humanity Restore.
The Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce Banquet is on Wednesday, April 27th, at Bayside Supper Club.
