BDPD Shop With Cops Returns For 22nd Year

(Beaver Dam) The Shop with Cops program that takes place in Beaver Dam is returning for its 22nd year. The program is geared towards children aged five to 12-years-old and gives law enforcement a chance to interact with them. Officer Andy Brunet says itโ€™s a big day for a lot of kids in the county.ย

โ€œItโ€™s fun for the officers, everyone that volunteers to help out,โ€ says Brunet. โ€œItโ€™s really a good thing.โ€

The officer adds that the event is funded by donations.

โ€œIf they go to the Facebook page โ€˜Dodge County Shop with Copsโ€™ thereโ€™s a QR code that if anyone is interested in donating, they can donate that way,โ€ Brunet says. โ€œWe always have the availability to donate at the event.โ€

People can also donate by sending a check to the Dodge County Sheriffโ€™s Office at 124 West Street in Juneau.

Applications are due no later than Friday, November 15.
