The Beaver Dam High School softball team travels to Waunakee today for a WIAA Division 1 Sectional Semifinal matchup, with coverage available on DailyDodge TV and 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam.
The Golden Beavers (21-7) split their two regular-season meetings with the Warriors this spring. Waunakee, the Badger Large Conference champion, claimed a 5-1 victory on April 30. Warriors pitcher Ashlyn Petrick was dominant in the circle, striking out 11 and allowing just two hits.
Beaver Dam earned a split of the season series with a dramatic 5-4 victory on May 18 at the BDHS Diamond. Lailah Linzenmeyer delivered the game-winning hit with an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Coverage begins at 4:45 p.m. on DailyDodge TV and 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam, with first pitch scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
