(BEAVER DAM) The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre is celebrating its new leadership structure.
Longtime Production Coordinator Kim Doyle recently retired from the role. Pushing the organization to accelerate its restructuring plan.
Its current Managing Director David Alan Smith is taking over Doyle’s previous position and David Saniter is joining BDACT in a new role as business manager.
Saniter left the organization in 2019 after serving as managing director for 13 years. However, he stayed involved with BDACT as a volunteer and performer.
Saniter’s departure led the group to bring in David Alan Smith who enjoyed a successful career in Hollywood.
Board President Emily Shier says they hit the jackpot with a dream team of Davids. She also praised their experience in marketing and business management.
Shier thanked the strategic planning leadership of Vice President Kevin Carnine and Staffing Committee Chairperson Larry Bartruff as well as committee members Michael Derr, Jill Kaufmann, Jessica Lefeber, and Kristie Lunde who have spent countless volunteer hours researching, evaluating, and considering the needs of the organization.
