(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Community Theater will be celebrating 60 years in 2024 and have a plethora of events to celebrate the occasion. Along with musical and theatrical performances, there will be some special events including a Vegas Night Fundraiser. Managing Director David Alan Smith says he hopes this is the first annual.
“We’ll have casino games, you can come, and you know, make a donation,” says Smith. “It’s a fundraiser for BDACT and play some of your favorite card games, and at the end, when you win, you cash your chips in for raffle tickets and we have raffle baskets from lots of vendors in the city and there [will] be all the different businesses will have baskets that you can bid on things and people win things.”
He adds there will be Elvis Presley impersonator Tony Rocker performing as well. The Vegas Night Fundraiser will be taking place on February 20th.
