BD Trap Team 3rd At Conference Meet

Saturday, May 17th, the Beaver Dam Trap Team traveled to the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association homegrounds in Rome, WI to participate in the KMTC conference tournament.  This tournament is the final competition for the conference season and drew 531 competitors from the 19 teams in the conference.  The weather didn’t cooperate for any of the teams, with cool temps, wind and rain all day long.  After all the scores were turned in, Beaver Dam’s Varsity finished in 3rd place for the south division with a final score of 459/500.  The 3rd place finish dropped Varsity to 2nd place in the final conference standings, 1/2 point behind Hartford.  The top 5 scores for Varsity were:

Beaver Dam’s JV squad finished the conference final in 2nd place with a final score of 423/500.  The top 5 JV scores were:

Gauge Jones-84

Colton Rechek-76

Conner Schade had the high score of the tournament with a 98.

Conner Schade, Joey Reifsninder, and Camden Zarczynski each had perfect rounds of 25.

Up next, Beaver Dam will be hosting 26 other teams at the 14th Annual Beaver Dam Invitational, May 23-25.
