(Beaver Dam) The man accused of kidnapping a pregnant teen from Beaver Dam will be arraigned later this month. A Dodge County judge ordered the arraignment hearing for Gary Day Tuesday morning. It is scheduled for June 17th.
Day is facing multiple felonies including Abduction of a Child and Child Enticement. Law enforcement officials say Day and the 17-year-old victim met online last year.
In February, an Amber Alert was issued after the 40-year-old reportedly kidnapped the teen from her Beaver Dam home. They were found on April 2nd near Omaha, Nebraska. Authorities say Day is the father of the girl’s unborn child.
If convicted, Day faces up to 80 years in prison.
