Alice In Dairyland Makes Visit To ADRC’s Volunteer Appreciation Event

(Beaver Dam) Ashley Hagenow, the 76th Alice in Dairyland, recenlty spoke at the Aging and Disability Resources Volunteer Appreciation event. The theme of the night was โ€œVolunteers Are Utterly Fantasticโ€ and was held at Old Hickory Golf Course in Beaver Dam. Alice in Dairyland has educated the public on agriculture since the programโ€™s inception, and she dropped by to catch everyone up to speed on the program, responsibilities and state of agriculture in Wisconsin.

Her passion for farming and the outdoors started at a very young age, as Hagenow invested time in various agriculture-related organizations.ย ย

โ€œGrowing up I was very involved in 4H and FFA, which included showing livestock species like horses and dairy cattle, judging those species, and most importantly to me, really making amazing connections in the industry of agriculture.โ€

Organizations can invite Alice to their event by filling out a form online. To register or learn more about Alice in Dairyland, go to AliceInDairyland.com.
