After Two Days With No Change, Seven Coronavirus Deaths Reported

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 601 cases of COVID-19 in Tuesday’s daily update. The seven-day average, which has continued to rise since June 19th, is 475 daily infections. There are 28,659 people now having tested positive. Four-point-seven-percent (4.7%) of the 12,000 tests administered came back positive Tuesday, compared to 5.3-percent Monday.

After two straight days of no reported deaths, state health officials recorded seven more deaths yesterday bringing that number to 784. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 12-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized.

Dodge County has five deaths on record and 459 cases, an increase of three from Monday. The county had 133 negative tests returned for a running total of 10,387. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 25 people while 201 have recovered.

Washington County has 15 deaths to date and 368 cases. Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 311 positive tests to date. Jefferson County has four deaths and 236 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County where there are 85 positive cases. Green Lake County has 32 cases.
