(Dodge County) With Tax Day less than a month away the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dodge County is offering aid with their tax assistance program. Their Tax Counseling for the Elderly program is a volunteer-based program through the AARP aimed to help older members in the community with simple tax forms and the Homestead Tax Credit Form.
Elder benefit specialist of ADRC in Dodge County, Amanada Higgins, says there are limited spots, and it is important to sign up soon, “Both the Beaver Dam and Watertown senior centers (are) very popular, the slots fill up really fast. I have not heard when the cut off is going to be so call sooner than later.”
