Beaver Dam Hosts Watertown Tonight on & WBEV

The Beaver Dam boys basketball team hosts Watertown tonight at the BDHS Fieldhouse.  Both teams enter tonight’s game looking to snap two game slides.

The 6th ranked Golden Beavers (11-2) dropped their first to games on the season this past week at Janesville Parker 69-56 last Tuesday and at home to Notre Dame 82-75 on Saturday afternoon.   The Goslings (3-4) have only played two times since December 30th, which was a 39-35 home loss to Janesville Parker and a 73-67 home defeat to Monroe on January 9th.

Beaver Dam senior Nate Abel leads the team in scoring at 24ppg.  Ty  Bunkoske (13ppg) and Brady Helbing (11ppg) also average in double figures.  Oliver Meyers leads Watertown in scoring at 16ppg while Nathan Gapinski scores at a 12ppg clip.

These two teams met back on December 5th at Watertown with the Golden Beavers picking up the 51-49 win.
