39th Assembly District Candidates Discuss The Issues On Community Comment

(Beaver Dam) There is a contested race for the 39th Wisconsin Assembly District seat. Republican incumbent Mark Born is facing a write-in challenge from Steve Rydzewski. Running on a platform to secure the elections and cut wasteful spending,

Rydzewski says voters should write his name down on the November 8th ballot. โ€œBecause I actually want to represent the people of our Districtโ€ฆI want to hear whatโ€™s important to them,โ€ says Rydzewski. โ€œIโ€™ve had a lot of conversationsโ€ฆpeople telling me they want this, they want thatโ€ฆand just making a list of those things and approaching them when I get to the assembly. The job seems pretty simple.โ€

Born says if re-elected he will continue to take the common-sense, conservative values of this district to Madison.
โ€œFolks know that they can trust me to tell them the truthโ€ฆIโ€™m not going to tell them the things I canโ€™t do or things that are unconstitutional, Iโ€™m not going to support,โ€ says Born. โ€œIโ€™m going to protect your rights and Iโ€™m going to represent you and this district with the values of this districtโ€ฆand continue to make the 39th Assembly District a great place to live, work, and raise a family.โ€
