Columbus High School senior Wyatt Graffin celebrated National Signing Day in style signing his National Letter of Intent to play NCAA Division One football at Central Michigan on Wednesday night.
In his career, Wyatt made quite the stamp on Columbus football all while filling up his own trophy case. A 3 year Varsity starter, Graffin and the Cardinals never saw a season end before level 3 of the playoffs. On top of the 2 straight Capitol Conference Championships to end his career, he also accrued the following individual on-field honors:
- Two-time First Team Small School All-State selection on both offense and defense
- First Team All-State selection on both offense and defense as a senior and junior, the only player in the state to achieve that honor 2024
- Two-time WFCA Small School State Defensive Player of the Year (2024 and 2025)
- Two-time Wisconsin All-Region selection as an offensive lineman (2024, 2025)
- Named WFCA Capitol Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Lineman of the Year as a junior in 2024
- Three-time First Team All-Capitol Conference selection (2023, 2024, and 2025)
- Two-time First Team Small School All-State selection on both offense and defense
- First Team All-State selection on both offense and defense as a senior and junior, the only player in the state to achieve that honor 2024
- Two-time WFCA Small School State Defensive Player of the Year (2024 and 2025)
- Two-time Wisconsin All-Region selection as an offensive lineman (2024, 2025)
- Named WFCA Capitol Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Lineman of the Year as a junior in 2024
- Three-time First Team All-Capitol Conference selection (2023, 2024, and 2025)
