(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 771 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update, which is 19.7-percent of the 3,900 tests announced. There are 10,201 active cases in the state, a decrease of six from Sunday. Active cases make up 11.3-percent of the nearly 90-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 78-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded no deaths Monday and that number remains unchanged at 1,210. Deaths accounted for 1.3-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 7.1-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Nationwide, the CDC says there have been 194-thousand deaths while the worldwide death toll is widely reported to be around 926-thousand.
Dodge County has eight deaths on record and 1,417 cases, an increase of one from Sunday.
The county had 106 negative tests returned for a running total of 20,768.
Washington County has experienced 32 deaths along 1,973 cases.
Fond du Lac County has reported 12 deaths and 1,467 positive tests on record.
Jefferson County has reported seven deaths and 1,072 cases to date.
There have been two deaths in Columbia County where there have been 436 cases.
Green Lake County now has 140 cases, an increase of seven from Sunday.
