(Madison) In an effort to support farmers, the Wisconsin Farm Center at the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection is hosting a series of one day workshops for farmers facing increased stress due to economic challenges. These workshops will serve as an opportunity for farmers to hear from others who may be in similar situations, as well as learn about stress management techniques and resources available to them. Titled Unexpected Tomorrows, the workshops are designed to focus on the stresses farmers and their families deal with including depression, anxiety, and family issues brought on by prolonged downturn in the farming economy. Six workshops have been scheduled for this year.
