Wisconsin DNR Wins International Awards for Videography

(Madison) The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources recently announced that the agency received two awards from the international Viddy Awards, judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) for outstanding achievement in video and digital production.

The videos โ€œDispose of Your Batteries Properly With E-Cycle Wisconsinโ€ won platinum and โ€œEngage in CWD Managementโ€ won gold. DNR Communications Director Katie Grant says the videos are used across the departmentsโ€™ social media platforms and by their media partners and serve as critical tools to help them educate and inform those they serve.

She adds they are honored to receive the awards and will continue to engage with the public through visual mediums. The Viddy Awards, previously known as the Videographer Awards, is one of the most coveted awards in the video industry. Since 1994, thousands of production and communication professionals have entered their best and most creative work.

The Platinum Award is awarded to those projects that the judges deem are written, produced, shot and/or edited in an exceptional manner. The Gold Award is awarded for projects that exceed industry standards.
