(Beaver Dam) There are just a few days left to apply for Wayland Academy’s 20th annual Swan Scholarship competition. Each year, the coed college preparatory school in Beaver Dam offers this scholarship opportunity to local Beaver Dam students entering ninth grade in the following school year.
It is valued at about $90-thousand-dollars and covers the full cost of tuition at Wayland for four years. Students enrolled in public or parochial schools are welcome to apply, as well as those who are home schooled.
Dean of Enrollment and Financial Aid Josh Labove says Wayland works hard to keep their globally-minded, Midwest-rooted, college-prep education within reach for families here in Beaver Dam. He says this local scholarship makes it so a Wayland education is possible for students who are eager to bring their curiosity and positive energy to their 55-acres campus.
To be eligible, students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing at their current school. Applicants must also reside with at least one parent within the boundaries of the Beaver Dam Unified School District.
Applicants for the 2023 competition must also submit their completed admission and financial aid applications to the Wayland Admission Office by Wednesday, February 15th, at wayland.org/apply-now.
