Waupun’s Fromholz Named State’s Top Goalie

Waupun High School senior Tyler Fromolz was recently awarded the Kirk Daubenspeck Award by WisconsonPrepHockey.com as the state’s best high school goalie.

Fromholz capped a four year prep career in the Warriors net with a fantastic senior season.  In 23 games, Fromholz logged over 1209 minutes, giving up just 59 goals.  He made 914 saves against 973 shots (93.9 save percentage)  and a 2.49 goals against average.

Other finalists for the award were Logan Abric of Hayward, Bridger Fixmer of Chippawa Falls, Adam Prokop of Wausau West and Aiden Prokop-Engh of Hudson.
