(Waupun) SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital was recently recognized. The facility was named a ‘Top Recommended Hospital’ by Becker’s Hospital Review, based on patients’ likelihood to recommend.
Becker’s compiled the “Top Hospital” list by utilizing Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems data. The rating is based on survey data collected from October of 2022 through September of 2023. The recommended hospital star rating is based on patients’ responses to the question, “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?”
Hospitals must have at least 100 completed surveys in a four-quarter period to be eligible for a star rating.
Waupun Memorial Hospital President DeAnn Thurmer says with every interaction, their team works hard to make sure their patients and their families have the best experience possible. She adds that their teams are focused on continually improving their services to make sure everyone we serve receives exceptional health care every time they walk through their doors.
This is the second consecutive year that Waupun Memorial Hospital was included in the review.
