10/20/17 – It is opening night for the new Waupun-based theatre troupe. The Waupun Community Players is performing the play Drinking Habit on the stage of the City Hall Auditorium. The theatre’s Brooke Born says the comedy is set in a convent and involves a group of nuns making wine behind the back of Mother Superior to keep the convent up and running.Born says the historic City Hall Auditorium is a wonderful stage to perform on because the natural acoustics of the structure are amazing. Tickets are $10 for the two shows of the Waupun Community Player’s presentation of Drinking Habit being held Friday and Saturday evening at 7pm.
