Watertown won the Badger Large Conference Tournament on Saturday in Waunakee and finished tied with Waunakee as league champs. It’s Watertown’s first girls volleyball conference title since 2019.

“The good but yet challenging thing about this tournament is that we’ve seen all these teams before. It’s an opportunity to look back, see how we can adjust and improve and then have the opportunity to show that growth all in one day. Our athletes all took time this week taking a team we would likely see this weekend and presenting to our group things we could focus in on within each match. We were able to make some nice adjustments especially on the teams we thought we would see late in the day- Waunakee and DeForest. The ladies just really bought in and played so smart in a lot of ways this weekend.
