(Watertown) Watertown Regional Medical Center was recently recognized for their maternity care. U.S. News and World Report has named the hospital to its 2024 High Performing list for maternity care.
Best Hospitals for Maternity Care is an annual evaluation designed to assist expectant parents, in consultation with their prenatal care team, in making informed decisions about where to receive maternity care that best meets their family’s needs.
Watertown Regional Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Patty Gedemer this recognition is a testament to the great work being done by their doctors, nurses, and support staff. U.S. News evaluated hospitals from across the nation that provide labor and delivery services and submitted detailed data to the publication for analysis. There were 680 hospitals participated in this year’s U.S.
News survey, an all-time high. Fewer than half of all hospitals that offer maternity care and participated in the survey received a High Performing designation and Watertown was one of only 17 in Wisconsin to be named to this list.
