Watertown Regional Medical Center Earns National Recognition

(Watertown) Watertown Regional Medical Center (WRMC) was once again nationally recognized for their efforts in providing safer health care. The facility was awarded an ‘A’ in the spring 2022 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.

The Leapfrog Grade is an independent national watchdog organization committed to health care quality and safety which assigns a letter grade to all general hospitals across the country. The Safety Grade is updated every six months, assessing how well the hospitals prevent medical errors and other harms to patients. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses up to 28 measures of publicly available hospital data to assign grades and their methodology is peer-reviewed.

Watertown Regional Medical Center CEO Richard Keddington says he is proud of their associates for once-again earning an ‘A’ grade for providing safe and quality care. He says this is a testament to the hard work being put in every day to create a place where the citizens of Watertown and surrounding communities can count on for all their healthcare needs.

This is the sixth period in a row that Watertown Regional Medical Center has received an “A” grade.
