(Kewaskum) The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating its fourth traffic fatality of 2023. Deputies were called to the crash scene on Ridge Road at Kettle View Drive in the town of Kewaskum around 12:15am Friday.
The initial investigation showed that a vehicle left the roadway and the operator – a town of Addison man – corrected, but lost control and the car again left the road. The vehicle overturned and struck a row of trees.
When first responders arrived, they noticed that the vehicle had extensive damage and that the driver needed to be extricated. Once the 30-year-old, and sole occupant, was removed from the vehicle he was pronounced dead.
The roadway was closed for approximately five hours. The crash remains under investigation.
