Washington County Resident Succumbs To Coronavirus

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 432 cases of COVID-19 in Wednesday’s daily update. The seven-day average is 330 daily infections. There are 25,763 people now having tested positive. Four-point-three-percent (4.3%) of the 9,600 tests administered came back positive Wednesday, compared to 2.2-percent Tuesday.

State health officials have recorded seven more deaths bringing that number to 757. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 13-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Washington County recorded its 14 death yesterday and has 330 cases.

Dodge County has five deaths and 444 cases, an increase of four from Tuesday. The county had 133 negative tests returned for a running total of 9,085. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 21 people while 193 have recovered.

Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 297 positive tests to date. Jefferson County has four deaths 194 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County and 70 positive cases. Green Lake County now has 26 cases.
