(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 278 cases of COVID-19 in Friday’s daily update. The seven-day average is 273 daily infections. There are 24,154 people now having tested positive. Two-point-five-percent (2.5%) of the nearly 11,000 tests administered came back positive Friday, compared to 4-percent Thursday. State health officials recorded 11 more deaths bringing that number to 730. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 13-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Washington County now has 13 deaths and 307 positive tests. Dodge County has five deaths 429 cases, an increase of three from Thursday. The county had 83 negative tests returned for a running total of 8,358. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 21 people while 183 have recovered. Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 278 positive tests to date. Jefferson County has four deaths and 168 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County and 63 positive cases. Green Lake County has 24 cases.
