(Washington County) Washington County recently sent out a survey to its residents to help shape future decisions in the county. County Executive Josh Schoemann says to no surprise, most responses included fixing roads and the response time for first responders.
Schoemann notes that they also asked about Fire and emergency services.
“They want to see more collaboration across the different volunteer districts,” Schoemann says. “They want the county to help facilitate that, whether that’s with dollars or with other kinds of resources.”
Schoemann says citizens also want more volunteerism and want it to be incentivized.
