(Beaver Dam) There are still a few openings for Beaver Dam residents to sign up to ring for the Red Kettle Campaign this holiday season. The campaign is the primary fundraising source used by the Salvation Army to help those in need. Coordinator Rhonda Steiner of the Beaver Dam Kiwanis Club says the bell ringing starts the day after Thanksgiving.
“We ring Fridays and Saturdays right up to December 23, which is a Saturday,” says Steiner.
Steiner says they will not be ringing on Christmas Eve. She adds that there are still plenty of slots available and there are multiple ways to sign up.
“They can call me and sign up individually,” Steiner says. “But the best place to sign up is where you can see the entire schedule and take your pick is by going to website called registertoring.com.”
Participating locations include Piggly Wiggly, Food Pride, Walmart, Walgreens, and Fleet Farm. A link to sign up is available HERE.
