(Beaver Dam) One of the community’s long running eye care providers has officially joined Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam’s employed physician group. Vita Park Eye Associates’ partnership with the Marshfield Clinic Health System was originally announced in December and was finalized Sunday.
The practice has served the Beaver Dam area since 1949 and currently features two board-certified ophthalmologists: Dr. Thomas Castillo and Dr. Jay Wilkins. Vita Park Eye Associates also has two optometrists who work at locations in both Beaver Dam and Waupun.
Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam Chief Administrative Officer Angelia Foster says Vita Park Eye Associates has been the eye care leader in the community for decades, and it is an honor to welcome them to the Marshfield team.
Dr. Castillo says the Marshfield Clinic Health System has worked hard to improve health care and expand access to specialty services in the community.
Dr. Wilkins adds that the number of dedicated specialists Marshfield has brought to Dodge County has been impressive and is a great service to the region.
Vita Park’s two locations will feature the Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam name followed by Beaver Dam Eye Clinic or Waupun Eye Clinic.
