(BEAVER DAM) UW Health is in talks to acquire Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam along with its clinics and health care facilities.
In a joint statement, UW Health officials say they are engaged in discussions with Marshfield Clinic Region of Sanford Health about the potential transaction. The move would bring all Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam facilities under the UW Health system.
Officials note that while these conversations are still in the early stages, both organizations share a commitment to ensuring the Beaver Dam community has access to high-quality, patient-centered care close to home.
They add that this potential partnership provides an opportunity to strengthen local health care for patients and support the long-term needs of the community.
