(BEAVER DAM) A domestic violence shelter in Beaver Dam is in need of financial support. PAVE’s Executive Director Emily Shier says recent funding cuts have made their jobs harder.
“We’re seeing some other funding cuts within some of the other nonprofit sectors and with some of our supporters,” says Shier. “I just would really encourage folks to consider supporting PAVE…come to some of our fundraisers.”
PAVE has upcoming fundraisers on October 6th and the 11th. The nonprofit offers a 24/7 hotline and texting line, as well as crisis advocates and counseling services.
