United Way Of Dodge County Has New Interim Director

(Beaver Dam) United Way of Dodge County has named a new interim director. Earlier this month Josh Kilgas, who has a little over 10 years of experience within the United Way network, stepped into the role. Kilgas says he spent most of that time at United Way of Fox Cities in various positions including community development and resource development.

โ€œI just have a strong commitment to the United Way network, and I know that network creates positive change in communities,โ€ says Kilgas. โ€œAnd Iโ€™m happy to help Dodge County with my experience within that United Way network.โ€

Kilgas says his time within the United Way network led him to this opportunity and to help the Dodge County organization set the foundation for a permanent director. He says while serving as interim director, he wants to focus on capacity building.ย

โ€œAlthough there are a lot of goals that are the continuation of making sure that the things that are supposed to happen such as campaign grants and those kinds of thingsโ€ฆweโ€™re really looking at that capacity building,โ€ says Kilgas. โ€œSo, really, if I could put a call out thereโ€ฆwhat we are doing is building some great applicants for the campaign volunteer committee to be able to help us call on other business leadersโ€ฆto chat with myself or some of the other volunteers who are working on that campaign to talk about what it might look like for a reinvigorated campaign.โ€

Kilgas says anyone interested in getting involved can reach out to him at director@unitedwayofdodgecounty.org.
