(BEAVER DAM) Two people sustained serious injuries following a crash in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a three-vehicle crash at around 1:50 p.m. on County Highway A and County Highway B.
According to investigators, a westbound 2022 white Kia on CTH B failed to yield the right of way to a semi traveling south on CTH A. As a result, the semi crashed into the Kia. The third vehicle, a 2017 Ford F-150, was traveling northbound on CTH A when it was hit by the Kia.
The Kia was driven by a 21-year-old woman from Waupun, and the passenger was identified as a 53-year-old woman from Beaver Dam. The driver was transported to Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam, while the passenger was flown to Aurora Medical Center in Summit.
Officials said the 24-year-old driver of the semi from Whitewater did not suffer injuries.
The Ford truck had five occupants: a 42-year-old man from Port Washington, a 38-year-old woman from Port Washington, and their three minor children. None of them suffered injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
