Three Columbia County Wholesalers Have Licenses Revoked

(Beaver Dam) The state of Wisconsin has revoked the dealer license for three Columbia County wholesalers for failing to follow administrative requirements. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles issued the order against A1 Alpha Motor, Signature Auto Group, and VIP Autos.

All three businesses are listed at 101 Skyline Drive in Arlington. The DMVโ€™s Dealer and Agent Section determined that each dealer violated state law when they rolled back odometers on vehicles sold to customers, falsified title documents, and sold vehicles director to retail consumers.

Due to the nature of the violations, the department took immediate action revoking each license on May 22. The decision to revoke Signature Auto Groupโ€™s license was upheld at a DOT hearing on June 13.

The decision to revoke A1 Alpha Motorsโ€™ and VIP Autoโ€™s license was also upheld at a separate hearing on June 14. Dealers are given 30 days to appeal a revocation.

Neither wholesale dealer sought an appeal and the decisions are final.ย
