(Bryon) A Theresa man suffered minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Highway 175 in the Township of Byron. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Brownsville Fire Department were dispatched to the scene around 6:47am.
The investigation showed that a southbound SUV, operated by a 27-year-old Fond du Lac man, was passing vehicles unsafely. The vehicle lost control, crossed the centerline, and struck a northbound pickup truck. The driver of the truck, a 43-year-old man from Theresa, was transported to St. Agnes Hospital for his injuries.
The Fond du Lac man was flown from the scene by Life Net to Froedtert Hospital for treatment. Authorities say he will be cited for Passing in a No Passing Zone, Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle, and Failure to Fasten a Seatbelt.
