(WATERTOWN) Students and staff are out of the building and safe after a situation forced an evacuation at Watertown High School.
Police say everyone at the school was moved to Maranatha, where they are being supervised and accounted for. Officers have set up a secure perimeter around the high school, and no one is allowed back inside the area right now.
Authorities are asking people to stay away from the school so emergency crews can do their work. Student belongings, including cars, are still on campus and will remain there until further notice.
Police have not yet released details about what led to the response.
