Storage Facility Damaged By Fire In Clyman

(Reeseville) A storage facility in Clyman was damaged by fire Thursday afternoon. The Clyman-Lowell-Reeseville Fire Department responded to United Liquid Waste Recycling on N2797 Highway 26 around 2:30pm.

CLR Fire and Rescue Chief Eric Howlett says the companyโ€™s safety director, who is also the fire chief in Iron Ridge, reported the blaze. He says crews were on scene for approximately three-and-a-half to four hours. Damage was contained to the storage facilityโ€™s roof and attic area. Howlett adds that water damage was also reported throughout the building.

No injuries were reported; the cause is under investigation. Assisting at the scene were Juneau Fire and EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics as well as fire departments in Lebanon, Hustisford, Watertown, Ixonia, Neosho, and Waterloo.ย
