(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,433 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 48,366 active cases in the state, an increase 815 from Sunday. Active cases make up 20.8-percent of the 232-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 181-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded three deaths, bringing that total to 2,050. Deaths accounted for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 231-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 35 deaths on record and 4,844 cases, an increase of 98 from Sunday. The county had 38 negative tests returned for a running total of 29,098. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 1,399 people while 2,515 have recovered.
Washington County has now experienced 44 deaths and 4,906 cases. Fond du Lac County has 5,371 positive tests on record, with 1,575 being active cases, and 23 deaths.
Jefferson County has reported 19 deaths and 3,069 cases to date, 649 are active cases.
There have been seven deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,974 total cases, currently the county has 607 active cases.
Green Lake County has four deaths and has 828 cases on record, 214 were reported in the last two weeks.
