(Columbus) Work on Highway 73 in Columbus is set to begin next Monday. Wisconsin Department of Transportation officials say the bulk of construction will include mill and overlay along with updated curb ramps along 73 between Faith Drive and Middleton Street.
Other improvements include reconstruction of railroad approaches. Motorists can expect to encounter right turn lane and shoulder closures.
DOT officials note that in July, a detour will be in place for the reconstruction of railroad approaches. They add that the work is slated for completion in August, weather permitting.
