(Wisconsin Dells) In partnership with SSM Health and SSM Health Treffert Center, Kalahari Resorts and Conventions recently announced the opening of a calm room at their resort.
The room will provide a safe, quiet, and dedicated space for those who have sensory sensitivities and can decompressed. Located on the second floor in the main lobby, the room is open to those who have sensory processing disorders or anyone seeking a quiet space to decompress.
It will offer sensory-friendly activities, books, fidget toys, and noise cancelling headphones, and will be equipped with comfortable seating and calming visuals. The room will also serve as a nursing room for mothers.
