Single Vehicle Crash Results In Fatality March 22, 2022March 22, 2022 by Daily Dodge (Chester) A man was killed in a single vehicle accident Sunday night near the Township of Chester. Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the accident on Highway C west of Highway I around 6:30pm. The initial investigation shows a Mercury was headed east on C, failed to negotiate a curve, and traveled off the roadway, striking several trees in the south ditch area. The 87-year-old driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. Assisting on the scene were the Waupun Fire Department, LifeStar Paramedics, Dodge County Emergency Response Team, Med Flight, Dodge County Medical Examiner, and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain.
