(JUNEAU) A candidate has come forward in the race for a Dodge County judge seat.
Dodge County Assistant District Attorney Shawn Woller is looking to succeed Judge Brian Pfitzinger, who announced last week he was not seeking reelection. Pfitzingerโs term comes to an end in July.
Woller says he brings more than a decade of prosecutorial experience to the race. He adds that, if elected, he will uphold the rule of law and the constitution while ensuring that every person who comes before the court is treated fairly, with dignity and respect.
A 2012 graduate of Marquette University Law School, Woller began his legal career later that year as an Assistant DA in Douglas County. He then worked for the Waukesha County DAโs office and then came to Dodge County in 2023.
Woller has done more than 35 jury trials during his time as a Wisconsin prosecutor. He also has the endorsements of retiring Judge Brian Pfitzinger, Dodge County District Attorney Andrea Will, and Sheriff Dale Schmidt.
