Sex Offender To Reside At A Property In The Town Of Burnett

(Burnett) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public about the placement of a sex offender in the town of Burnett. According to authorities, the Beaver Dam Police Department notified the public on November 15th that Jeffrey Schaum would be released from prison and residing at 109 or 109 ½ Elm Street in the city.

The 59-year-old resided at that location for two days, and was then approved by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections to live at a different residence. Schaum will be staying at W6727 County Road C in the town of Burnett. He will be supervised by agents specializing in intensive supervision and will be a lifetime GPS client.

Schaum was released from prison on November 19th after serving his sentence for three counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He had no prior criminal history. Sheriff’s officials say that Schaum is not wanted by law enforcement at this time and that this notification is not intended to increase fear.

They add that citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will be investigated and citations issued or arrest made if appropriate.
